What brand of apparel do you carry?
At Dobbs Apparel, we specialize in screen
printing & embroidery, so we are not limited to any specific brand.
We work with a number of different major brands in the apparel
industry, ensuring that our customers receive a quality garment. If
there is a specific brand that you wish to use and do not see it
available, please let us know; more than likely we can use the brand
you request.
What is your minimum order?
The minimum order depends on the type of
embellishment.
Embroidery – 12 pieces
Screen Printing – 24 pieces
Sublimation – 1 piece
Our minimum order amount is $50.00 excluding
shipping charges, sales tax, export fees, etc.
What types of art files are required?
We can work with many different types of art
files, but ideally we would prefer a vectorized .eps file, at least
300 dpi. Jpegs, .gif, bmp, or similar files are typically of a low
resolution and will not show up clearly on the garment. For more

The artwork I have is not
“hi-resolution”…can you help?
Yes. If you do not have the artwork in an
acceptable format, our graphics dept. can clean up the artwork for
you. The cost is $30.00 per half hour.
What are your normal business hours?
Our normal business hours are 8 am – 5pm,
Eastern standard time.
Can you create artwork from scratch?
Yes. If you need help in choosing or designing
artwork, please contact us at 800-889-6368. You can also utilize
our designer which allows you to custom design your own
artwork.
What is the normal lead time on an order?
Generally, the average production time is
approximately 2 weeks. If you need something sooner, we do have a
rush service available at an additional 20% to the order total,
depending on production availability. All ship dates are
approximate, so if you need something on a particular date please
let us know at the time you place the order.
What is your normal method of shipment?
The majority of our orders are shipped UPS
Ground. 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air
services are available at an additional cost.
If my order shipped via UPS Ground, how long
will it take to get to me?
That depends on how far your shipment has to
travel. Click here to see a

Please Note: We are not responsible for delays
in delivery by UPS based on reasons outside of our control (adverse
weather conditions, etc.).
What are the standard print sizes?
It depends on the location. To view our
standard print sizes, click here.
How many colors can you print?
We can print up to 6 spot colors. We can also
do 4 color process printing, depending on the garment color and the
design.
Do you print Names & Numbers?
Yes. Names and Numbers can be added to your
shirt at your request. Currently they are not offered on the
designer portion of our site. To inquire about names & numbers,

Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is charged only in the following
states: FL, OH, TN. If you reside in one of these states and have a
tax exemption certificate, you can turn it in with your order to
avoid paying sales tax.
Do you accept credit cards or purchase
orders?
Our online orders using the designer are paid
through Paypal. Phone & faxed orders can be paid by Visa, Discover,
Mastercard, or American Express. We accept properly authorized
school purchase orders, credit cards and offer sales on open account
to qualified customers. Deposit may be required.
